[The tent was old and way too big for just two people, but he'd gotten it years ago for cheap and like hell was he gonna go buy a new one when this one did the job. Well, as long as it didn't rain - from his crouch at the entrance he looked up between the trees - still clear skies, mild weather, and a light evening breeze.
Maybe he should try to find a tarp anyway. The house might be 15 meters away but goddamnit they were camping, and if it rained they were gonna be prepared. He took a moment to stick his head back into the tent, going over all the supplies for the eleventh time... Finally pulled back and stood to light a cigarette, satisfied.]

I think it's time to lay back and relax. What about you?

Mm. [That's a yes.] Where do y'want...
[And his posture goes straighter as he looks over their little lamplit campsite and the rest of the yard.]
Buhyoo frills~
She smiles and gives his arm a squeeze, looking up at him. ]
Let's put the blanket by the garden. We can lay down there.

He stands up and turns all at once, vaguely holds it out in his arms as he walks back to her. Good enough?]

[Well, yeah, there is. It's one that he likes going to when he's alone, and some selfish part of him really does want to keep it for himself - even though it's not hidden or anything. Not secret at all, right out there. It's just a spot he's found and cultivated over the years - a spot she may have seen him lying around in on summer nights two centuries ago, if she bothered to peek out - but one he's improved upon.]
Yeah.
[So he leads her, and it's not far at all; in fact, it doesn't seem very special, when one is standing. When one tumbles into the grass, though. There's space between the ever-present poplars to look up at the sky, leaves only obscuring the edges of the scene along with a few white-as-moonlight lilies peeking in and over, their fragrance mixing with the jasmine nearby.
He spreads the blanket and flops down onto his elbows, waiting.]

She sits beside him, looking at him curiously as she rests back on her elbows too, mirroring him. ]

That's Hercules. See that bright one - [And he points the brightest star nearby, in Lyra.] - look... [He grabs her hand and shoves his head close, touching, so they can both see, trails their hands so that it's in the middle.] Those four, in a square... they're dim...
