[The tent was old and way too big for just two people, but he'd gotten it years ago for cheap and like hell was he gonna go buy a new one when this one did the job. Well, as long as it didn't rain - from his crouch at the entrance he looked up between the trees - still clear skies, mild weather, and a light evening breeze.

Maybe he should try to find a tarp anyway. The house might be 15 meters away but goddamnit they were camping, and if it rained they were gonna be prepared. He took a moment to stick his head back into the tent, going over all the supplies for the eleventh time... Finally pulled back and stood to light a cigarette, satisfied.]

[Well, he's certainly considering it... when it comes down to it he's just as bad at keeping leftovers as she is. A little grass isn't going to stop him, so while she's poking around in his bowl he's trying (and failing) to sneakily peer over her. Assess the damage the ground has wrought upon the leftovers and all that.]

Uh, [her hair's in the way, huff] thanks.

[ She sits beside him and gives her food a sniff before she starts digging in, blowing on each bite before taking it. Considering what she had to work with, this has turned out really good-- and considering how high she is, she's only realizing just how hungry she is. ]

[Seeing her eat right in front of his face snaps him out of it - he'll fix up those leftovers later. And in typical fashion, he pretty much begins inhaling his food, stubbornly ignoring how hot it is.]

She glances up at she eats, watching him devour his food and smiling. ]

[Just pauses and blinks, owlishly, before swallowing and nodding once and sharp. Then he raises a brow, like why wouldn't I.]
